- buttermilk
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/4 c
- warm water - 1/4 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make buttermilk rolls:
Dissolve yeast in the 1/4 cup warm water. Heat buttermilk to lukewarm; add sugar, salt, shortening, soda, flour and dissolved yeast. Knead until smooth. Shape into rolls. Place in a warm place.
