Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- buttermilk - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- warm water - 1/4 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
How to make angel biscuits:
Dissolve the yeast in warm water and set aside. Cut shortening into the dry ingredients. Stir in the buttermilk and the water-yeast mixture. Blend thoroughly. Refrigerate or make into biscuits.
