Brownie cheesecake bars
Ingredients/Components
- plus 2 Tbsp - 2/3 c
- sugar
- unsifted flour
- unsweetened cocoa - 2/3 c
- eggs - 3 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 3 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- can sweetened condensed milk - 1 oz
How to make brownie cheesecake bars:
Preheat oven to 350°. Melt 2/3 cup margarine. In large mixer bowl, beat melted margarine, sugar, flour, cocoa, eggs, milk, 2 teaspoons vanilla and baking powder until well blended. Stir in nuts, if desired. Spread in greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.In small mixer bowl, beat cheese, remaining 2 tablespoons margarine and cornstarch until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk, then remaining 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour evenly over brownie batter. Bake 40 minutes or until top is lightly browned. Cool. Chill. Cut into bars. Store covered in refrigerator. Makes 24 to 36 bars.
