Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- sugar
- can pumpkin - 1 oz
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- cloves - 1/4 tsp
- dash of nutmeg - 1 item
- chopped nuts optional - 1/2 c
- In a mixing bowl, beat together eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin until fluffy
- butter, softened - 2 Tbsp
- sifted confectioners sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk if needed - 1 item
How to make pumpkin bars:
Preheat oven to 350°. In a mixing bowl, beat together eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin until fluffy. Stir together flour, soda, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, ginger, cloves and nutmeg. Add to pumpkin mixture and mix well. Pour into an ungreased 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Cake tester is clean. Cool and frost.Cream Cheese Frosting:2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened2 Tbsp. butter, softened1 c. sifted confectioners sugar1 tsp. vanilla milk (if needed) Beat together cream cheese and butter until creamy.
