Broccoli cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 6 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 6 c
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- Velveeta cheese - 1 lb
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 3/4 c
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cubes - 6 item
- broccoli - 2 pkg
- egg noodles - 8 oz
How to make broccoli cheese soup:
Saute onions in butter. Add water and bouillon cubes. Add salt, pepper and garlic powder. Bring to boil, dissolving bouillon cubes. Add noodles. Cook until almost tender. Add milk, cheese and broccoli. Reduce heat slightly. Cook until broccoli is tender. Full recipe serves 6 to 8.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Cheese, Soups & stews.
