Broccoli and cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- milk - 6 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- water - 6 c
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onions - 3/4 c
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- chicken bouillon cubes - 6 item
- cheese Velveeta - 1 lb
- fine egg noodles - 8 oz
How to make broccoli and cheese soup:
Saute onion and butter; add water and bouillon cubes. Boil and gradually add noodles and salt. Cook, uncovered, for 3 minutes. Stir in broccoli and garlic powder. Cook for 3 minutes. Add milk, cheese and pepper. Stir constantly until cheese melts. Will freeze up to 1 month.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Cheese, Soups & stews.
