Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- sliced mushrooms - 4 oz
- shredded cheese
- sausage - 1 lb
- slices bread, broken - 6 item
How to make breakfast casserole:
Brown sausage, drain and cool. Beat eggs with milk. Add salt and mustard; beat again. Add bread and stir until softened. Stir in cheese, mushrooms and sausage. Pour in a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish. Refrigerate overnight. Bake for 45 minutes at 350°. Let stand several minutes before serving.Recipe categories: Breakfast, Casseroles, One Dish meal.
