- hot water - 3 c
- vegetable oil - 3/4 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- yeast - 2 Tbsp
- wheat flour and 6 1/2 c
How to make bread:
Add the first 5 ingredients; let stand 10 to 15 minutes.For Wheat Bread: Add 1 1/2 cups wheat flour to 6 1/2 cups white flour.
For White Bread: Add 8 cups white flour. (For better bread, use Seal of Minn. flour.)
Let stand 1 hour; work down good. Let stand another 1/2 hour. Work out. Let stand until right size. Bake for 30 minutes, no longer. Let cool for 45 minutes, then put in bags. Makes 4 loaves.
