Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- raisins - 1 c
- hot water - 1/2 c
- rolled oats - 6 c
- honey - 1/2 c
- finely chopped nuts - 1 c
- Grape-Nuts cereal - 1 c
- whole wheat flour - 2 c
- raw wheat germ - 1 c
How to make granola:
Preheat oven to 250°. Combine flour, oats, coconut, wheat germ, Grape-Nuts and chopped nuts in a large bowl. Blend remaining ingredients together in a separate bowl. Stir into dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.Spread evenly on 2 large jelly roll pans, slightly greased. Bake together for 1 1/2 hours, rotating pans on shelves and stirring after 45 minutes. Cool and store in covered container.
