Ingredients/Components
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- chicken broth
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- olive oil - 2 tsp
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- thyme - 1/4 tsp
- red pepper - 1/8 tsp
- cumin - 1/4 tsp
- fresh parsley for garnish if desired - 1 item
- cooked and drained black beans
How to make black bean soup:
Heat olive oil. Add onion and garlic for 5 minutes, stirring. Add other seasonings. Cook, stirring for 1 minute more. Add beans and broth and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
