Cabbage bean soup
Ingredients/Components
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- carrots - 2 item
- large stalk celery - 1 item
- water - 2 c
- chopped green cabbage - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
- can tomatoes in own juice - 1 oz
- can navy beans - 1 oz
- can green beans - 1 item
How to make cabbage bean soup:
Saute onion in a large nonstick pan (spray with Pam) for about 3 minutes. Halve carrots and celery and then slice crosswise. Add to pan with onion, sauteing slowly over low heat for about 2 minutes.
