Easy vegetable soup
Ingredients/Components
- can chicken broth - 1 item
- bay leaf - 1 item
- celery seed - 1 item
- medium onions - 2 item
- celery salt - 1 item
- can tomatoes - 15 oz
- can green beans - 15 oz
- red pepper - 1 item
- water to cover - 1 item
- can butter beans - 15 oz
- medium baking potatoes - 2 item
- can creamed corn - 15 oz
- can Veg-All mixed vegetables - 15 oz
How to make easy vegetable soup:
Place chopped potatoes and onions into large pot; cover with water. Cook until tender. Add vegetables (except corn), chopping tomatoes. Add desired seasonings and chicken broth. Simmer over low heat for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Add corn 10 minutes before end of cooking time to thicken. Stir often to prevent sticking. Serve hot with fresh corn bread. Makes about 3 quarts.
