Ingredients/Components
- half and half - 1 c
- milk - 1 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- shucked oysters with juice - 1 pt
- generous dash of white or black pepper - 1 item
How to make christmas oyster stew:
Slowly heat oysters and butter in saucepan until edges of oysters start to curl. At the same time, heat milk and half and half in another pan until small bubbles start to form around outside edge of milk. (Do not boil.) Combine milk, pepper and oysters and heat through.
