Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- brown sugar, packed - 3/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 item
- garlic salt - 1 item
- onion salt - 1 item
- 2 oz - 1 lb
- celery salt - 1 item
- beef brisket - 8 lb
- few drops liquid smoke - 1 item
How to make beef brisket:
Rub both sides of brisket with garlic salt, celery salt, onion salt, sugar, liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce. Wrap lightly in foil in both directions. Refrigerate overnight.Season again in the morning. Wrap lightly in foil and bake at 250° for 1 hour per pound. Remove from oven and open foil; drain. Grease.
Mix barbecue sauce and pour over meat. Return to oven and bake at 350° with foil open for 1 hour.
