Barbecue brisket
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 2 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- garlic salt - 1 tsp
- onion salt - 1 tsp
- celery salt - 1 tsp
- liquid smoke - 1 Tbsp
- beef brisket - 3 4
- bottle barbecue sauce
How to make barbecue brisket:
Sauce:1 (18 oz.) bottle barbecue sauce1/2 c. brown sugar Place brisket in shallow baking dish. Combine seasonings and rub into meat. Wrap tightly in foil and refrigerate overnight. Season again as above, omitting sugar. Cover with foil. Bake at 300° for 1 hour per pound. After baking, drain grease. Mix barbecue sauce with brown sugar. Pour over meat, re-cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cool 20 minutes before slicing.Recipe categories: Main dish, Meat, Beef.
