Beef brisket
Ingredients/Components
- barbecue sauce - 1 item
- meat tenderizer - 1 item
- tsp salt - 1 item
- tsp pepper - 1 item
- tbsp Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 item
- tbsp liquid smoke - 2 item
- tsp celery seed - 1 item
- tsp celery salt - 1 item
- Brisket - 1 item
How to make beef brisket:
Place meat on a piece of aluminum foil large enough to wrap around the meat. Cover both sides of the meat with liquid smoke, Worcestershire sauce and tenderizer. Sprinkle seasonings on both sides of meat. Seal foil around meat.Place in baking dish and marinate overnight. Bake at 300 degrees to start, about 1 hour. Then reduce heat to 250 degrees and bake for 5 hours, or until tender.
Remove foil and add barbecue sauce the last hour, if desired. Cool and slice thin.
