Beef and cheese pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- Bisquick - 2/3 c
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- oregano - 1 tsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- shredded Mozzarella cheese - 1 c
- tomato paste - 1 can
- dried basil - 2 tsp
- small curd cottage cheese - 1/2 c
How to make beef and cheese pie:
Heat oven to 400°. Grease 10 x 1 1/2-inch pie plate. Cook and stir beef until brown. Drain grease. Stir in oregano, basil, tomato paste and 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese. Make layers of beef mixture, cottage cheese and Parmesan cheese in pie plate. Beat eggs, add milk and then add Bisquick mix, salt and pepper. Beat until well blended. Pour over hamburg and cheese layers. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until brown. Sprinkle remaining Mozzarella cheese over top and let cool for 5 minutes.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Cheese, Beef.
