Beef and bean round-up
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar - 1 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- ground beef
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1/2 c
- barbecue sauce - 1 c
- can baked beans - 1 oz
- can Hungry Jack biscuits - 1 oz
How to make beef and bean round-up:
Heat oven to 375°. In skillet brown ground beef and onion; drain. Stir in barbecue sauce, brown sugar and beans. Heat until bubbly. Pour into 2 1/2-quart casserole. Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Cut each biscuit in half crosswise. Place biscuits, cut side down, over hot meat mixture in spoke fashion around edge of casserole. Sprinkle cheese over biscuits. Bake at 375° for 22 to 27 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown. About 6 servings.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Beans.
