Ingredients/Components
- chopped onions - 1/4 c
- catsup - 1 c
- water - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 3 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- dash of cayenne - 1 item
- about 12 frankfurters
How to make barbecued frankfurters:
Cook onions in hot fat until tender. Combine remaining ingredients (except frankfurters). Add to onions. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Prick frankfurters. Add to sauce. Cover. Simmer 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Meat, Picnic.
