Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- firmly packed brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- salad oil - 1 item
- Worcestershire sauce - 3 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- catsup - 1 c
- prepared mustard - 1/2 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- frankfurters, cut in half - 1 lb
How to make barbecued franks:
Brown onion in oil. Add remaining ingredients except franks. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add franks and simmer 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Meat.
