Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1/4 c
  • Worcestershire sauce - 3 Tbsp
  • chopped onion - 1/4 c
  • chopped celery - 1/2 c
  • catsup - 1 c
  • prepared mustard - 1/2 Tbsp
  • dash of cayenne pepper - 1 item
  • frankfurters

How to make barbecued frankfurters:

Cook chopped onion in margarine until transparent. Add ingredients. Cover and cook 20 minutes. Prick frankfurters. Add to sauce. Simmer 15 minutes. Frankfurters may be cut diagonally into thirds.
