Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 3 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- catsup - 1 c
- prepared mustard - 1/2 Tbsp
- dash of cayenne pepper - 1 item
- frankfurters
How to make barbecued frankfurters:
Cook chopped onion in margarine until transparent. Add ingredients. Cover and cook 20 minutes. Prick frankfurters. Add to sauce. Simmer 15 minutes. Frankfurters may be cut diagonally into thirds.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Meat, Picnic.
