  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • flour - 3 c
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • butter - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • cloves - 1 c
  • allspice - 1 tsp
  • blackberries or jam - 1 c

How to make blackberry cake:

Melt butter. Add blackberries and buttermilk. Sift flour, spices and soda into mixture. Add eggs and brown sugar; beat until smooth.

Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake 40 minutes at 350°.
