Baked stuffed mushrooms
Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese - 2 Tbsp
- savory - 1/4 tsp
- bread crumbs - 1/4 c
- chopped green onions - 1/4 c
- mushrooms - 24 item
- chicken broth or white wine - 2 Tbsp
- chopped bacon or ham - 1/2 c
How to make baked stuffed mushrooms:
Wipe mushrooms (do not rinse). Remove stems and chop to make 1 cup. Cook with onions in butter until tender. Stir in flour, savory and pepper. Add broth and 2 teaspoons water. Cook until thick and bubbly. Stir in bacon, cheese and bread crumbs. Fill caps. Sprinkle with parsley and bread crumbs.
