Baked rice pudding
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2/3 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- raisins - 1/2 c
- grated rind of 1/2 lemon
- rice - 1/2 c
- scalded milk - 4 c
- well beaten eggs - 2 item
How to make baked rice pudding:
Wash rice and mix with milk, salt, sugar, lemon rind, nutmeg and raisins. Pour into greased baking dish. Bake in slow oven at 325° for 2 1/2 hours, stirring 3 times during the first hour of baking.
