Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 item
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 qt
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1 qt
- nutmeg - 1 item
- raisins
- stick oleo - 1 item
- rice
How to make rice pudding:
Cook milk, water, sugar and oleo, stirring until oleo is melted and sugar is dissolved. Add rice and salt. Cook until rice is tender (about 45 minutes). Turn heat off.Beat eggs in 2-cup container and add enough water to container to make 2 cups. Add egg mixture very slowly to rice mixture. Add vanilla and raisins. Turn on heat and bring rice to a boil. Pour into large cake pan and sprinkle top with cinnamon and nutmeg. Thickens as it cools.
