Apple cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• flour - 1 c
• egg yolks - 2 item
• baking powder - 1 tsp
• Crisco - 1/2 c
• egg whites, beaten - 2 item

How to make apple cake:

Mix Crisco and sugar; add egg yolks, flour, baking powder, vanilla and egg whites. Cut apples into thin wedges and put in batter on edge; sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over top with bits of butter. Bake at 325° for 30 to 35 minutes.
