Easy rice pudding
Ingredients/Components
- rice - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- raisins - 1 c
- milk - 4 c
- nutmeg - 1 item
- uncooked rice - 1/2 c
- light or heavy cream I use half and half - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- sugar or less - 1/3 c
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- cinnamon on top - 1 item
How to make easy rice pudding:
Cook first two ingredients together in a double boiler for 1 to 1 1/4 hours, stirring occasionally. May be necessary to add a little milk. Add remaining ingredients, mixing well.
