Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/8 lb
- medium onion - 1 item
- fish fillets - 2 lb
- large can tomatoes - 1 item
- dried bread or cracker crumbs - 1 c
How to make baked fish fillets:
Fry onion golden brown in butter. Add crumbs and fry until mixture is browned. Use half this mixture in bottom of buttered baking dish. Add fillets. Season well with salt and pepper (and a bit of oregano). Cover with layer of drained tomatoes, then the balance of the crumbs.
