Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1 tsp
- ginger - 1/8 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- white sugar - 1 Tbsp
- Granny Smith apples - 4 item
- grated apple peeling, finely grated - 2 Tbsp
- pie shells 1 top and 1 bottom - 2 item
How to make apple pie:
Topping:1 Tbsp. cinnamon1 Tbsp. white sugar Do not bake pie shell. Cut up apples and place in pie shell. Do not put apples in any water. Mix together nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, sugar, apple peeling, flour, butter and lemon juice. Pour into pie shell with apples. Sprinkle the top of the top crust with 1 tablespoon cinnamon and 1 tablespoon white sugar.
