Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/4 c
- eggs, separated - 3 item
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 item
- hot milk - 1 c
- allspice - 1/4 tsp
- mashed sweet potatoes - 2 c
How to make sweet potato pie:
Blend butter and sugar. Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice and egg yolks. Add salt, spices, sweet potatoes and hot milk. Put into pie crust. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Turn temperature to 375° for 35 to 40 minutes or until knife comes out clean.Recipe categories: Desserts, Potato, Vegetables.
