Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 1/2 c
  • diced raw apples - 4 c

How to make apple cake:

Cream together sugar, shortening and eggs. Then add all other ingredients. Stir good. Spread into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
