sugar - 2 c
stick margarine - 1/2 item
eggs - 2 item
diced peeled apples - 4 c
flour - 2 c
soda - 2 tsp
cinnamon - 2 tsp
nutmeg - 1-1/2 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes
light cream or use Carnation evaporated milk - 1 c
vanilla - 1 tsp
dash of nutmeg - 1 item

How to make apple cake:

Mix ingredients and put into greased 9 x 12 baking pan. Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes.SAUCE1 c. butter2 c. sugar1 c. light cream (or use Carnation evaporated milk)1 tsp. vanilla dash of nutmeg Cook over low heat until sugar dissolves. Spoon over cake when serving.
