Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 6 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 1/2 c
  • finely chopped pecans - 1 c
  • sticks butter or margarine - 2 item
  • cups sugar - 2 item
  • box vanilla wafers, crushed fine - 1 oz

How to make vanilla wafer cake:

Cream butter until fluffy. Add sugar gradually, creaming until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Blend in remaining ingredients and pour into a well greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325° about 1 hour and 25 minutes or until cake tests done.
