For a quick frosting, mix ingredients together. Spread on cake while hot. Place in broiler for a few minutes.... Mix water, cinnamon, sugar, salt, lemon juice and cornstarch in pan and bring to boil. Take from fire and add eggs and butter. Set back on fire until... Melt chocolate and butter together; add chocolate mixture to beaten egg yolks, then add 2/3 cup of the powdered sugar. Chill, then fold in whipped cream. Beat egg whites until... Beat sugar and margarine until smooth. Stir in milk until frosting reaches spreading consistency.... Combine margarine, cocoa, milk, powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in pecans and coconut.... Put first three ingredients in top of double boiler. Stir frequently and cook over (not in) boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes or until chocolate melts and mixture is... Bring first 4 ingredients to boil. Add remaining ingredients. Be ready to apply to cake because this gets hard fast. It works best on pancakes and also makes good candy.||... Boil sugar and water and then pour this into the egg whites. Beat while pouring and then add syrup.... Cook 1 minute or 45 seconds after it begins to boil. Let cool by itself. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and beat until smooth.... In large mixing bowl, cream shortening and margarine or butter with electric mixer. Add vanilla. With mixer on medium speed, gradually add sugar. When all sugar has been mixed in,... Prepare cake mix according to instructions. Bake two layers. Let cool overnight, then separate two layers into four layers.|| Filling: Stir sugar and cream together. Cook 7 minutes until frosting stands in peaks. Remove from boiling water.... Cook the milk and flour until thick; cool. Beat last 4 ingredients until fluffy, then add cooked mixture.
