Zucchini parmesan
Ingredients/Components
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 pkg
- seasoned bread crumbs - 1 item
- small zucchini, sliced in 1/4 to 1/2-inch slices - 1 item
How to make zucchini parmesan:
Peel zucchini and slice. Dip each slice in beaten egg with 1 tablespoon water. Then dip in seasoned bread crumbs and fry in oil until brown. Drain on paper towels.Layer in casserole along with tomato sauce between each layer. Spoon sauce on top. Bake in medium oven until bubbly. Last 15 minutes of baking, top with Mozzarella cheese.
