Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- onion salt - 1/4 tsp
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- can mushrooms, drained - 1 item
- celery salt - 1/4 tsp
- can water chestnuts - 1 oz
- ribs celery, chopped - 3 item
- bag sliced almonds - 1 (2
- bulk pork sausage - 1 lb
- wild rice - 1 c
How to make wild rice casserole:
Cook wild rice in 2 cups water. Brown pork sausage and drain off drippings. Saute onion and celery in butter until tender. Mix together water chestnuts (sliced and drained), mushroom soup, 1 soup can of water, almonds, mushrooms, celery salt, garlic salt, pepper, onion salt, paprika and salt. Mix all ingredients together in casserole. Bake 1 hour, covered, at 350°.Recipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Rice.
