Wild rice casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 1
- water - 1/2 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- paprika - 1 item
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- ground beef - 1 lb
- celery salt - 1/4 tsp
- can chicken rice soup - 1 1/2
- small to medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- can sliced mushrooms undrained - 1 oz
- uncooked washed wild rice - 2/3 c
How to make wild rice casserole:
Pour boiling water over washed rice. Cover and let stand 15 minutes; drain. Place wild rice in 2-quart casserole. Add soup, mushrooms with liquid, water, seasonings and paprika. Mix gently and let stand for a few minutes. In skillet, brown beef aRecipe categories: Side dish, Casseroles, Rice.
