Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- oleo or butter - 1/4 c
- chopped parsley - 2 Tbsp
- olive or salad oil - 1/4 c
- , minced clams - 2 cans,
- or 3 garlic cloves, minced or crushed - 2 item
How to make white clam sauce:
Drain clams, reserving 3/4 c. liquid. In skillet, slowly heat oil and butter. Add garlic and saut?© until golden. Remove from heat. Stir in the clam liquid, chopped parsley and salt; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Add clams, simmer 3 minutes. Makes enough for 8 oz. of spaghetti.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Savory sauces.
