Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/2 c
  • egg, beaten - 1 item
  • garlic powder - 1 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1/4 c
  • ketchup - 1 item
  • salt and pepper - 1 item
  • green pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • mild pork sausage - 1/4 lb
  • lean venison - 2 lb
  • beef fat - 1/4 lb

How to make venison loaf:

Grind venison, beef fat and sausage with a meat grinder. Season with salt and pepper. Combine egg, milk, onion and green pepper; blend with the meat. Shape into a loaf and place in a loaf pan. Spread ketchup across the top and bake 2 hours at 350°.
