Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- ketchup - 1 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- mild pork sausage - 1/4 lb
- lean venison - 2 lb
- beef fat - 1/4 lb
How to make venison loaf:
Grind venison, beef fat and sausage with a meat grinder. Season with salt and pepper. Combine egg, milk, onion and green pepper; blend with the meat. Shape into a loaf and place in a loaf pan. Spread ketchup across the top and bake 2 hours at 350°.Recipe categories: Main dish, Wild game, Deer.
