Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- flour - 1/3 c
- cooking oil - 1 item
- paprika - 1/8 tsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- black pepper - 1/8 tsp
- sliced mushrooms - 1/2 lb
- each - 4 thick
- can condensed mushroom soup - 1 item
How to make venison swiss steak:
Rub the steaks with a mixture of flour, garlic powder, paprika and black pepper. Brown the meat in a large skillet along with the chopped onion. Add the mushroom soup and a can of water. Stir and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until tender. Remove the meat and add mushrooms to the liquid in the skillet.
