- water - 8 qt
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- chopped cabbage - 4 c
- carrots, sliced - 16 item
- cut green beans - 4 c
- medium potatoes, sliced - 8 item
- peeled tomatoes - 8 c
- corn, cut from cob - 4 c
- onions and ground beef if desired - 1 item
How to make vegetable soup:
Put all vegetables and water in a large soup kettle and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes. Put in jars and cook in hot water bath for 2 hours.Recipe categories: < 4 hours, Weeknight, Soups & stews.
