Vegetable chowder
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- hot water - 4 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
- chopped onion - 1 c
- bay leaf - 1/2 item
- sliced celery - 1 c
- can tomatoes - 1 oz
- thyme - 1/4 1/2
- beef bouillon cubes - 2 item
- ground chuck - 1 lb
- noodles, crushed uncooked - 1 c
How to make vegetable chowder:
Saute beef and onion in margarine until brown. Add water, tomatoes, celery, salt, bouillon, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add vegetables, noodles and thyme. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Enjoy.Recipe categories: Low calorie, Soups & stews, Chowders.
