Ingredients/Components

  • pkg - 1 oz
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • margarine - 2 Tbsp
  • hot water - 4 c
  • pepper - 1/8 tsp
  • Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1 c
  • bay leaf - 1/2 item
  • sliced celery - 1 c
  • can tomatoes - 1 oz
  • thyme - 1/4 1/2
  • beef bouillon cubes - 2 item
  • ground chuck - 1 lb
  • noodles, crushed uncooked - 1 c

How to make vegetable chowder:

Saute beef and onion in margarine until brown. Add water, tomatoes, celery, salt, bouillon, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 30 minutes. Add vegetables, noodles and thyme. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Enjoy.
