Vegetable cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- flour - 1/2 c
- oleo - 4 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chopped celery - 1/2 c
- chicken broth - 3 c
- chopped carrots - 1/2 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- parsley - 1 Tbsp
- chopped potatoes - 1 c
- dash of white pepper - 1 item
- or 12 oz - 3 c
How to make vegetable cheese soup:
Cook vegetables in oleo until tender but not brown. Add broth and pepper. Simmer 30 minutes. Blend together the milk and flour before adding to vegetables. Add cheese and parsley. Cook until thick and bubbly. Serves 7 to 8 people.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Cheese, Soups & stews.
