Tomatillo salsa
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- lime juice - 1 Tbsp
- ground red pepper - 1/4 tsp
- diced onion - 1/4 c
- white wine vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- ground cumin - 1/2 tsp
- unsweetened orange juice - 1 Tbsp
- chopped fresh cilantro - 2 tsp
- diced sweet red pepper - 1/4 c
- diced sweet yellow pepper - 1/4 c
- jusked, diced tomatillos - 1 c
How to make tomatillo salsa:
Combine diced tomatillos, sweet red pepper, yellow pepper and onion in a large glass bowl. Stir well. Add vinegar, sugar and juices; stir well to combine. Stir in cilantro, cumin and red pepper. Stir well again to combine. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Serve salsa with unsalted tortilla chips, beef, pork or chicken.
