Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 item
- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- applesauce - 2 c
- slices bread - 12 item
- stick butter or margarine - 1/2 item
How to make overnight french toast:
Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and a little cinnamon. Place 6 slices of bread on top of sugar and cinnamon. Cover slices of bread with applesauce. Place 6 more slices of bread on top. Beat eggs and milk. Pour over bread. Put in refrigerator overnight. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Breakfast, Sauces.
