Ingredients/Components

  • cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
  • butter or margarine - 1 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1/3 c
  • cornstarch
  • water
  • vinegar - 1 Tbsp
  • raisins - 1 c
  • cloves - 1/4 tsp
  • dry mustard - 1/4 tsp

How to make raisin sauce for ham:

Boil raisins in water 5 minutes. Add sugar mixed with cornstarch, spices, mustard and salt. Cook, stirring, until thickened. Stir in butter and vinegar. Serve hot. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
