Tijuana torte
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 item
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 oz
- ground beef - 1 lb
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- sliced tomatoes - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese - 1 item
- taco seasoning - 1 pkg
- soft corn tortillas - 12 item
How to make tijuana torte:
Brown meat and onions. Drain. Add stewed tomatoes, sauce and taco seasoning. Simmer 10 minutes. Place 2 tortillas side by side in baking dish. Put meat mixture on top of tortillas, then sprinkle with cheese (about 3 large tablespoons of mixture on each layer). Repeat until each stack has 6 tortillas. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
