  • sugar - 2 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • oleo - 1 c
  • cocoa - 4 Tbsp
  • water - 1 c
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • Icing:1 stick oleo
  • milk - 6 Tbsp
  • powdered sugar - 16 oz
  • chopped nuts - 1 c

How to make texas sheet cake:

Icing:1 stick oleo4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk16 oz. powdered sugar1 Tbsp. vanilla1 c. chopped nuts Mix in bowl the flour and sugar; set aside. In saucepan, combine the next 3 ingredients; bring to rapid boil. Pour over flour and sugar mixture. Add remaining ingredients; mix well and pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 400° until done.

Icing: Mix oleo, cocoa and milk; bring to a boil. While hot, add sugar, vanilla and nuts. Ice cake while cake is hot.
