Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- sour cream - 1/2 pt
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- large eggs - 2 item
- chopped walnuts - 1 c
- plain flour - 2 c
- sticks butter - 2 item
- box powdered sugar - 1 lb
- Remove from heat and add flour, sugar and salt
How to make texas sheet cake:
Bring water, butter and cocoa to a boil. Remove from heat and add flour, sugar and salt. Beat in eggs, sour cream and baking soda. Bake at 350° in a 15 1/2 x 12 1/2 x 1-inch pan for 25 to 30 minutes.Frosting:1 stick butter4 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 lb. box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped walnuts Bring butter, cocoa and milk to a boil.
