Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- self-rising flour - 2 c
- sticks butter - 2 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- water - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 3 Tbsp
- In saucepan, bring to boil butter, water and cocoa
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- pecans - 1/2 c
How to make texas sheet cake:
Combine flour, sugar and salt. In saucepan, bring to boil butter, water and cocoa. Pour over flour mixture. Blend eggs, soda, buttermilk and vanilla. Add to flour mixture. Mix well. Bake in greased and floured 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch pan for 20 minutes at 350°.Cake Frosting:1 stick butter3 tsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. milk1 box confectioners sugar1/2 c. pecans1 tsp. vanilla Mix butter, cocoa and milk in pan.
